JAZZ!

I love the Jazz...I haven't always loved the Jazz, but I have fallen in love with them the past few years.  I just love going and screaming and being some of the loudest fans in the nation, and supporting them even when they break my heart. 

I recently converted Gregg to a Jazz fan.  It wasn't hard.  He doesn't really follow basketball and he didn't love the Knicks, so it was kind of a done deal on him rooting for his current home team rather than his actual home team.  I am sure if there was a basketball team in Long Island he would root from them over the Jazz though.

Making a difference

I am sure that everyone's goal in life to make some sort of difference in the world or on someone’s life. Well I wanted to let YOU know, that YOU have made a difference in my life. Rather it is making me motivated to work out harder, eat healthier, do better in school, spend more time with friends and family and less time worrying about my stressors, focusing on the good times rather than the rough times or just making me realize who I am. YOU know who YOU are and YOU have definitely changed one person's life.

Meet Hunny

Hunny is a Munny.  But if you search this and look at the images you will find that I did not make my Munny into something quite as creative as some others Munnys, however, I think she is cute and I am going to think of something that I can turn her into...stay posted for an update.

Hunny is my Easter present from my hunny...Gregg.  She was part of my Easter basket that I got after my Easter egg hunt.  Yes, I went on an Easter egg hunt at almost the age of 27.  What can I say...I {HEART} Easter.  It is my favorite and I will never grow out of getting an Easter basket...even probably when I have kids of my own I will expect an Easter basket...I know I am ridiculous, but that is why my friends love me. :)  My Easter basket this year was fully equiped with a chocolate bunny and all of my favorite Easter candies.   Yum...hopefully FFYL will help me work off all of those mini cadbury eggs that I have been eating.

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Easter holiday...despite the snow...And hopefully we can get a little spring time weather to enjot the rest of the Spring season. 

Spring Break

Well Spring Break is over and it is back to reality...back to life. I spent this Spring Break, Vegas style and some Utah style. I flew down to Vegas for a quick little trip with Gregg, and did absolutely nothing, well almost nothing. I shopped of course, and Gregg took me to see Cirque du Soleil's, Mystere. Absolutely amazing! The weather was perfect, and it was a much needed rest from the rest of the world. Then it was back to Utah, and its cold snowy weather. I spent the rest of the weekend relaxing with some girlfriends, eating lots of good eats, and snowboarding in the sun. Thanks to all of the friends that made this Spring Break not only a memorable one, but one of the best ever! :)

Stolen Identity!!!

I am part of a case of stolen identity....whose you ask???  Precious little Kobi Bear's.  Gregg's mom was complaining about coming to Utah and visiting because of her dogs, so Gregg told her that he has a dog now.  Her name is Kobi and she is a yellow lab.  Poor little Kobi having her identity stolen.  I don't know if Kobi's momma is very appreciative of her baby being used, but she did get a good laugh about it.  Gregg even went to great lengths to tell his mom that we take her to the dog park every day, and feed her yummy treats.  Too bad we don't really have a cute puppy to love...guess I will just have to love Kobi, too!

Daytona 500

My list about the Daytona 500: 

1. Longest day of my life.  8 hours of watching something that I don't know squat about, much less really care about, makes for a really long day.  Like a really long day.  I thought that it was time to go home and go to bed by the time we left., of course it was only 6PM, so definitely not time to go to bed, but not as much time as I hoped to spend with my Valentine was left though.
2. They do get breaks and get out of their car when a piece of the road falls apart and they have to take 1.5 hour break.  I asked Gregg if they ever go to the bathroom and he said that they are usually too dehydrated that they don't have to go, but if they do they would probably just go. (Forrest Gump style) *side note: One of the drivers has shit their pants, but still won the race so I guess the really do just go.*  Gross.
3. Thank goodness for DVR so we didn't have to watch all of the footage of the break.  I don't know what they could possibly talk about for that long...I mean it is just cars making a lot of left turns...enough said. 
4. There is a whole lot of redneck is NASCAR, and no manners.  Shame on Earnhart, Jr.
5. NASCAR was not as boring as I thought it was going to be.  I would watch it over tennis and possibly golf.  I did however take a small nap during the second break of the road breaking before the finale of the race.
6. The last 10 laps are really the only laps worth watching...a lot of action happens during that time.  Congrats to Jamie McMurray on a great finish.

7. Cautions are pointless.  I think that they should just let them go crazy.  It makes it more entertaining for the viewers when the cars wreck.
8. I like how shiny the cars are when they start the race.  It makes them look less ridiculous with all of their sponsor stickers that are big enough for an alien to see from Mars.  I also like that they make them wear matching gear.
9. The wives/girlfriends that were shown are beautiful.  What is up with that?  I mean some of the guys are not that bad looking, but I wouldn't say smokin' hot about any of them, but their wives...that's another story.
10. Overall I would have to say that it was not the worst thing ever, but it definitely was not college football.  Go UTES!

So I hope that everyone had a great Valentine's Day doing something that they enjoyed, or something that their honey enjoyed.
